Description of problem: (I am running Kernel 4.8.0-1.fc26.x86_64 from Rawhide since none of the older kernels worked) I am trying to get a 3rd monitor working with F24. It's a Dell u2713hb monitor connected to my VGA port from the CPU to the HDMI input on the monitor. It is detected by GNOME as "Unknown Display". Here are some logs from dmesg: [ 157.184710] [drm:drm_edid_block_valid [drm]] *ERROR* EDID checksum is invalid, remainder is 130 [ 157.184712] Raw EDID: [ 157.184714] 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.184714] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.184715] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.184716] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.184716] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.184717] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.184718] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.184718] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221945] [drm:drm_edid_block_valid [drm]] *ERROR* EDID checksum is invalid, remainder is 130 [ 157.221947] Raw EDID: [ 157.221947] 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221948] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221949] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221949] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221950] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221950] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221951] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.221952] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259154] [drm:drm_edid_block_valid [drm]] *ERROR* EDID checksum is invalid, remainder is 130 [ 157.259155] Raw EDID: [ 157.259156] 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259156] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259157] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259158] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259158] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259159] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259159] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.259160] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296370] [drm:drm_edid_block_valid [drm]] *ERROR* EDID checksum is invalid, remainder is 130 [ 157.296371] Raw EDID: [ 157.296372] 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296372] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296373] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296373] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296374] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296375] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296375] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296376] ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 157.296378] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: VGA-2: EDID block 0 invalid.
