Description mejiko 2016-10-05 09:44:22 UTC
Hello.

SDL included non-free code.
See debian bug number "814445" details.

File List:

"SDL2-2.0.4/src/stdlib/SDL_qsort.c"

I suggest that resolve license problem.
Thanks.

Comment 1 Igor Gnatenko 2016-10-05 09:51:34 UTC
If this bug exist - then it's in SDL(1).

Comment 2 mejiko 2016-10-05 10:01:43 UTC
SDL2 and SDL package is included SDL_qsort.c, and license text is same.

Why this bug "component" is SDL ?
I think that SDL and SDL2 is different package.

Thanks.

Comment 3 Igor Gnatenko 2016-10-05 10:04:12 UTC

I understand, sorry.

Comment 5 Tom "spot" Callaway 2016-10-05 14:44:09 UTC
Upstream for qsort.c relicensed that code to zlib a while back, and SDL committed the change in trunk:

https://hg.libsdl.org/SDL/rev/2e3396e62aa6

Permission for relicensing was retroactive, so applies to Fedora's copy of 2.0.4.
