Mainn, actually all providers archive instances. It's how MIQ handles instances that are deleted from the provider. We can't delete instances in the MIQ db because they might have historical events and historical metrics still associated that are used in reporting. So, we remove a "deleted" instance from the EMS association and mark it archived.
