On RHEL6, rebuild of devtoolset-6-gdb-7.12-24.el6.src.rpm fails thusly: ======= 11674-+ ln -s -r /usr/src/redhat/BUILDROOT/gdb-7.12-24.el6.x86_64/usr/libexec/gdb /usr/src/redhat/BUILDROOT/gdb-7.12-24.el6.x86_64/usr/bin/gdb 11675-ln: invalid option -- 'r' 11676-Try `ln --help' for more information. 11677:error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.aiG3x3 (%install) ======= No biggie, might be worth fixing for dts-6.1 though. On rhel-6 we have coreutils-8.4-43.el6.x86_64.
I did hit this problem but then I realized I do not have devtoolset-6-build.rpm installed. I do not know what devtoolset-6-gdb.src should really try to build without devtoolset-6-build, it tries to make a /usr/bin/gdb replacement but this spec-build-code-path is not really tested/supported.
Exactly, just wanted to add this note. Sometimes it is convenient to build base rhel package out of a scl srpm, but not a standard thing definitely. Up to your consideration.
OK, I can fix it. It can make it in if there will be a DTS-6.0 respin.
