This is part of rebasing GNOME to 3.22.

The current stable release is 2.50.0

I've pushed the rebase to git and kicked off a glibmm24-2.50.0-1.el7 build for the rhel-7.4-gnome build target. Package maintainers, if possible please check that the rebase looks good. Thanks!
