From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041111 Firefox/1.0 Description of problem: I am using a Java-based application. Sometimes, it takes a few seconds (5-10) for a window to open so while waiting for that application (mouse cursor becomes an hourglass) I tend to switch desktops. Problem is I could not switch desktops! If I use GNOME, I do not experience this problem. Only with KDE. I never had problems with FC2 running the same app on an even slower machine. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kdebase-3.3.1-4.1 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run a slow program. 2. Switch to a different desktop when the cursor changes to an hourglass. 3. Grind teeth. Actual Results: You can't switch to another desktop. Expected Results: I should be able to switch to another desktop. Additional info: I have applied all the updates to FC3, 15 minutes ago.
