Description of problem:
Pulling in the thrift package pulls in qt and related packages, where are unexpected in a server environment.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install thrift
thrift x86_64 0.9.1-13.el7 epel 1.0 M
Installing for dependencies:
hwdata x86_64 0.252-8.1.el7 base 2.1 M
pciutils x86_64 3.2.1-4.el7 base 90 k
pciutils-libs x86_64 3.2.1-4.el7 base 45 k
qt x86_64 1:4.8.5-12.el7_2 updates 4.5 M
qt-settings noarch 19-23.5.el7.centos base 17 k
No qt packages pulled.
Already fixed in Fedora; I backported the patch.
Ping. Is anyone reading this? All that's needed is to apply the provided patch.

It looks like this was addressed in Fedora, but not in EPEL7.
