Description Rob Kearey 2004-11-13 02:36:25 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5)
Gecko/20041111 Firefox/1.0

Description of problem:
[robk@localhost ~]$ locate pacman
/usr/share/doc/gnokii-0.6.1/sample/logo/pacman.xpm
/usr/share/applnk/System/ScreenSavers/pacman.desktop
/usr/share/control-center/screensavers/pacman.xml
/usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver/pacman
/usr/X11R6/man/man1/pacman.1.gz

Given Namco's litigisnous, it's probably unwise to include this in the
xscreensave package. We really should groom xscreensaver for this sort
of thing.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xscreensaver-4.18-4

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. user xscreensaver

Actual Results: Pacman appears

blessed rustproof +1 fountain pens and briefcases

I've emailed legal so we'll see what they say.

Hi,

The consensus from Red Hat legal is that this shouldn't be something
we should be worried about right now.

If they have a problem with us using it then they'll ask us to remove it.
