Previously, the "nss_wins" library used incorrect function definitions for "gethostbyname" functions. Consequently, applications failed when using the Name Service Switch (NSS) with the "nss_wins" library. The function definitions have been fixed and as a result, applications using the NSS "nss_wins" library now work correctly.

to be backported to 7.3 z-stream (EUS).
