Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
Previously, when the "smbclient" utility did not receive a mechanism list message integrity code (mechListMIC) token, the connection to a share was not established. As a consequence, "smbclient" failed to connect to shares on Microsoft Azure or Apple Mac OS X. A patch has been applied to enable connections without receiving a mechListMIC token. As a result, the "smbclient" utility is now able to connect to shares on Microsoft Azure or Apple Mac OS X.
