Hi Joy, I have just reverted the change made in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1384161. It seems that it is expected https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1384161#c3
Test with the newest version and seems it is work as expect. And etcd3 will not obsolete etcd and just report some warning: Dependencies Resolved ================================================================================================================================================== Package Arch Version Repository Size ================================================================================================================================================== Installing: etcd3 x86_64 3.0.14-2.el7 /etcd3-3.0.14-2.el7.x86_64 45 M Transaction Summary ================================================================================================================================================== Install 1 Package Total size: 45 M Installed size: 45 M Is this ok [y/d/N]: y Downloading packages: Running transaction check Running transaction test Transaction check error: file /usr/bin/etcd from install of etcd3-3.0.14-2.el7.x86_64 conflicts with file from package etcd-2.3.7-4.el7.x86_64 file /etc/etcd/etcd.conf from install of etcd3-3.0.14-2.el7.x86_64 conflicts with file from package etcd-2.3.7-4.el7.x86_64 file /usr/bin/etcdctl from install of etcd3-3.0.14-2.el7.x86_64 conflicts with file from package etcd-2.3.7-4.el7.x86_64 Error Summary ------------- So set this as verified.
