Description Luca Cavalli 2016-11-20 20:57:52 UTC
I'm using Darktable 2.2.0 rc0 packaged for f26 on my f24 (no dependency problems) but the GUI fonts are bigger then with 2.0.x version.

Comment 1 Germano Massullo 2016-11-20 21:25:11 UTC
Hi Luca, thank you for the bugreport.
Unfortunately this is not a valid bugreport since darktable 2.2.0 release candidate 0 is not yet available on Fedora 24.
Question: could you explain the procedure you followed to use the darktable of F26 into F24? I am using [1] to use darktable 2.2.0 RC0 into my F24 machine and fonts are fine.

Hi Germano,

didn't know you still have a copr repository for Darktable. I'm going to switch to it. I did the upgrade by manually download the f26 from http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=817187 and issuing the command:
sudo dnf update ./darktable-2.2.0.rc0-0.1.fc26.x86_64.rpm
Since no dependency problems were raised I confirmed the operation.

Installing the RPM of another Fedora version causes malfunctions.
You must take the source RPM (.srpm), then do
mock -r fedora-24-x86_64 file.srpm
and install the .rpm files that have been built by mock builder

Hi Germano,

sorry for hijacking this bug report, but using your copr repo fixed the font size issue. Thanks.
