Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2017:1993 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE alsa-lib bug fix and enhancement update 2017-08-01 17:58:23 UTC

Description Jaroslav Kysela 2016-11-29 08:42:53 UTC
Update the alsa-lib package to the latest upstream (1.1.2+) to better support the latest ALSA drivers. Also, the upstream code contains various fixes for this library.

Comment 2 Ken Benoit 2017-05-17 16:47:28 UTC
Verified that on RHEL-7.4-20170504.0 that alsa-lib is at version 1.1.3-3.el7 and I've done some functionality testing on a wide range of hardware. Without knowing everything that's been introduced in the new version I can only perform SanityOnly testing. Marking as verified.
