Description of problem:

Retain the sync object APIs(http://calamari.readthedocs.io/en/latest/calamari_rest/resources/api_example_api_v2_cluster__fsid__sync_object.html) as tendrl is going to use these APIs for reading the cluster state information

This is a noop considering that this functionality was never removed. We will need to determine what specific items you are using here so that we have it carried forward when we transition to ceph-mgr

At this point, I assume that wee need all of these("mds_map", "osd_map","mon_map",
"mon_status","pg_summary","health","config")

Ok well I don't need this info today or even in this cycle but it will be relevant in RHCeph 3. I'm going to move this to a future release so we can define it better when it matters

Sure. Only thing at this point is do not deprecate the API and leave it as it is today for 2.* or until ceph-mgr takes charge

able to access sync_object api. not deprecated in 2.2
