Description Scott Talbert 2016-12-08 01:24:25 UTC
gstreamer-0.10 is obsolete and has been replaced by gstreamer-1.0. wxGTK3 should be updated to use gstreamer-1.0. Debian already has a patch for this, so we should just include this patch in Fedora.

Has this patch been sent upstream? or was it backported from master?

Upstream master has gstreamer-1.0 support. Upstream 3.0 does not. This patch hasn't been sent upstream, presumably because it removes support for the older gstreamers, which would probably need to be retained in 3.0. I've been meaning to try to refactor the patch to leave the older gstreamer support in place, but I haven't gotten to it.

Implemented in Rawhide (F26).
