Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

_libstoragemgmt_ rebased to version 1.4.0 The _libstoragemgmt_ packages have been upgraded to upstream version 1.4.0, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. Notably, the following libraries have been added: * Query serial number of local disk: lsm_local_disk_serial_num_get()/lsm.LocalDisk.serial_num_get() * Query LED status of local disk: lsm_local_disk_led_status_get()/lsm.LocalDisk.led_status_get() * Query link speed of local disk: lsm_local_disk_link_speed_get()/lsm.LocalDisk.link_speed_get() Notable bug fixes include: * The `megaraid` plug-in for the Dell PowerEdge RAID Controller (PERC) has been fixed. * The local disk rotation speed query on the NVM Express (NVMe) disk has been fixed. * *lsmcli* incorrect error handling on a local disk query has been fixed. * All _gcc_ compile warnings have been fixed. * The obsolete usage of the *autoconf* AC_OUTPUT macro has been fixed.

libstoragemgmt 1.4 will include fixes and enhancement on local disk API:
 * Query local disk logical negotiated link speed.
 * SCSI enclosure LED status.
 * Query local disk serial number.

Tested libstoragemgmt-1.4.0-3.el7 and it passed in our regression test.
