Description Bronce McClain 2016-12-16 20:23:12 UTC
"The following packages that were shipped in RHV 4.0 will need naming updates for 4.1 to be consistent with the branding changes introduced in 4.0 ('Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization'->'Red Hat Virtualization')

rhev-hypervisor7-ng-image-update-4.0-20160622.0.el7.noarch.rpm
rhevm-appliance-20160619.0-2.el7ev.noarch.rpm
redhat-release-rhev-hypervisor-4.0-0.8.el7.x86_64.rpm

Simply remove the 'e' for 4.1 package."

Comment 2 Ryan Barry 2017-01-03 14:48:54 UTC
We handled most of this rebranding with 4.0, since we were starting from scratch.

rhev-hypervisor-7-ng[-image-update] -> redhat-virtualization-host[-image-update]

redhat-release-rhev-hypervisor -> redhat-release-virtualization-host

rhevm-appliance was rebranded to rhvm-appliance in 4.1.

Comment 3 cshao 2017-01-26 03:38:08 UTC
Test version:
RHVH-4.1-20170120.4-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso
imgbased-0.9.6-0.1.el7ev.noarch

Test result:
rhev-hypervisor-7-ng[-image-update] -> redhat-virtualization-host-image-update-4.1-20170120.0.el7_3

redhat-release-rhev-hypervisor -> redhat-release-virtualization-host

rhevm-appliance was rebranded to rhvm-appliance in 4.1.(rhvm-appliance-20170123.0-1)

So the bug is fixed, change bug status to VERIFIED.
