Description Germano Veit Michel 2016-12-19 07:08:13 UTC
It is not mandatory to attach RHEL7 Base OS subscriptions or channels to RHV-H Next-Gen Hypervisors. But some very useful troubleshooting utils are not present in the instlal image and only provided by base OS channel (not RHV hypervisor channels).

It is quite often that there is a need to use some of these utils during troubleshooting and precious time is lost.

If possible, please add (some?) the following utils on RHV-H image.

tcpdump
vim-enhanced
screen
strace/ltrace
wget
sysstat
dropwatch
systemtap
