Description of problem: As the summary says. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pykickstart-2.32-1.fc25.noarch python3-3.5.2-4.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. call ksvalidator Actual results: $ ksvalidator fedora-csb-ks.cfg /usr/lib64/python3.5/optparse.py:999: PendingDeprecationWarning: The KSOption class is deprecated and will be removed in pykickstart-3. Use the argparse module instead. option = self.option_class(*args, **kwargs) _setToSelf has been renamed to set_to_self. The old name will be removed in a future release. KickstartValueError is deprecated and will be removed in pykickstart-3. Use KickstartParseError instead. add_option is deprecated and will be removed in pykickstart-3. Use add_argument instead. Expected results: No spurious message Additional info: none, pretty obvious.
The _setToSelf calls seem to have snuck back in after I did a commit that cleaned them all up. So that's taken care of. The rest of those should be getting ignored by pykickstart/__init__.py but they are not. Looking into why that may be.
Alright, I think I've got this figured out. It should be fixed in the next build. Thanks for the report.
Is there chance that this version of pykickstart will be sooon released into F25 isolinux files? Apparently it seems that if I attempt to make custom cd using os/isolinux/... files it fails with the exactly same error message. I was also testing rawhide version of isolinux files but it did not help.
