FC2 installed OK, kernel update 2.6.7-1.494.2.2 works OK, kernel update 2.6.8-1.521 (and all subsequent) failed in same manner after install. iso image checked good against the md5 sum, and installed OK on my otherAthlon machine, using a MSI KT3 Ultra ARU mobo. What is non-standard about the nForce II chipset? Is it the SATA controller? Will it work if I connect a PATA drive to the primary master? An update has been released for Fedora Core 3 (kernel-2.6.12-1.1372_FC3) which may contain a fix for your problem. Please update to this new kernel, and report whether or not it fixes your problem.
