Document URL: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Storage/3.1/html/Administration_Guide/sect-NFS.html#sect-NFS_Ganesha Section Number and Name: Under NFS section Describe the issue: Need to document this: At a time, setup can be either configured with nfs-ganesha or GNFS. Having both nfs-ganesha enabled and having gnfs volume on same setup is not recommended. Before enabling gNFS make sure kernel-NFS and nfs-ganesha services have been stopped. Suggestions for improvement: We can have the above note in administration guide Additional information:
Closing this bug as the issue reported to be mentioned in installation guide is already present... http://jenkinscat.gsslab.pnq.redhat.com:8080/view/Gluster/job/doc-Red_Hat_Gluster_Storage-3.1.3-Administration_Guide%20(html-single)/lastBuild/artifact/tmp/en-US/html-single/index.html#sect-NFS_Ganesha 7.2.4. NFS-Ganesha Note: Only one of NFS-Ganesha, gluster-NFS or kernel-NFS servers can be enabled on a given machine/host as all NFS implementations use the port 2049 and only one can be active at a given time. Hence you must disable kernel-NFS before NFS-Ganesha is started.
