Do not enable more than one Database Synchronization role per region. Create Region Number 99 to which all other VMDBs replicate. Treat this as a read only database for reporting and charting. To perform database maintenance items, such as scheduled backups, on the top-level region (master), also enable the Database Operations role. No additional settings aside from assigning the region ID. No need to configure any replication. Describe the issue: CF 4.2 does not have a replication worker anymore. Also it needs to be explicit if a HA region 99 database server(s) are supported. The following steps in the doc need to be updated to properly configure the remote regions to replicate their data to the master.
