Description of problem:
RHEVH register to satellite 5.7 failed.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clean install RHEVH
2. Input below information:
CA URL: https://example57.redhat.com/pub/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT
3. Register to satellite
An error occurred while applying the changes: │
│Error registering to RHN account
RHEVH register to satellite 5.7 successfully.
Check the config-file:
1. There is no RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT file under /usr/share/rhn folder in rhevh
2. "serverURL" is configured wrong in /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date
Does this work with the previous build?
Thanks for reporting this. I'm going to check this today with Douglas and I'll report the results here.
I see from logs:
2017-01-11 09:28:08,510 ERROR Failed to call: /usr/sbin/rhnreg_ks --novirtinfo --norhnsd --nopackages --force --password XXXXXXXX --username admin --serverUrl https://satellite57jan3.redhat.com/XMLRPC --sslCACert /etc/sysconfig/rhn/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT

I am unable to access satellite57jan3.redhat.com, is it down?
Thanks mmello! I will retest with the environment you gave and give the report about satellite 5.7 here today.
