Description Ben Konrath 2017-01-15 15:25:43 UTC
Since ostree is a requirement for flatpak, I'm requesting that ostree 2016.15 be added to epel7. I was able to build and install ostree-2016.15-1.fc26.src.rpm on CentOS 7.3.

Comment 1 Colin Walters 2017-01-23 17:37:26 UTC
One potential stumbling block here is that ostree is also consumed by the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host variant. And it's possible for people to enable EPEL both for the host and in containers - and if EPEL has a higher version, at least in the using-yum-container case we may get silent upgrades.

That said...I'm OK with this. We might as well do rpm-ostree too, and that would potentially give us a nicer delivery path than what we've been doing so far in the CentOS SIGs. EPEL at least currently has better visibility.

Just wondering if there has been any progress on this?
