A possible DoS issue was found in cifs/smbencrypt.c when smbencrypt() points a scatterlist to the stack. This affects only kernels with CONFIG_VMAP_STACK enabled.

This was fixed in the 4.9.1 stable kernels and is currently on all supported Fedora releases.
