Description of problem: Prepared Template has configured 'Initial Run' options: Checkbox 'Use Cloud-Init/Sysprep' is ticked and the necessary fields for provisioning via Cloud-Init are filled. When viewing/editing the template in Administration Portal and User Portal the checkbox is still ticked and fields are filled, also when creating a VM via 'VM/ New VM' inside Administration Portal. But not when a VM is created via 'VM/ New VM' inside User Portal. Checkbox is unticked and when it is activated all fields are unfilled. Therefore VM can't be instanciated from template with working Cloud-Init setup. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 4.0.6.3 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create template from VM in Administrator Portal 2. Tick checkbox 'Use Cloud-Init/Sysprep' under 'Initial Run' 3. Fill any Cloud-Init parameter fields and save options 4. Create new VM from template in User Portal Actual results: The checkbox 'Use Cloud-Init/Sysprep' under 'Initial Run' is unticked and all configured Cloud-Init parameters are unset. Expected results: The checkbox 'Use Cloud-Init/Sysprep' under 'Initial Run' is ticked and all configured Cloud-Init parameters from the template are set. Additional info: none
The basic user portal is being replaced by a new implementation and the advanced functionality (such as cloud init settings) will be available only in webadmin. Closing this bug.
