Description of problem: The version of Terminator provided by the Fedora 25 repo doesn't have transparency when used with Wayland. Building the Launchpad source and running has proper transparency, just a quick update needed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): The version provided by the repo is v1.90, but the version provided by the source build is also v1.90. How reproducible: Extremely, as far as I can tell. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install terminator. 2. Enable background transparency. Actual results: Making the background more transparent only makes the bg darker with no transparency. Expected results: Actually having a transparent background.
Yeah, the main terminator developer pulled in the transparency work into the main development branch, after the release of 1.90. I'm waiting on a new release to update the Fedora package.

Just note, that transparency still is not fixed on F25 even with new version of terminator even when it is presented on upstream that issue should be fixed. $ rpm -q terminator terminator-1.91-1.fc25.noarch Additional info: I am using xorg and openbox.
