Created attachment 1249122 [details] Add icons, .desktop, and appdata files. I'd like to be able to set Alpine as the default mail application in Gnome, so that it'll open when I click on a "mailto:" link. The attached patch enables that. I've had this patch kicking around for a while. I originally tried to get it upstream, but as far as I remember I didn't hear back.
Any references to upsream reports? I think I still have commit access there, so could help move things along
There doesn't seem to be any bugtracker at http://patches.freeiz.com/alpine/, so I reported it by email: Date: Tue, 28 Jan 2014 06:11:54 From: Eduardo Chappa To: Peter Oliver Subject: Re: Patch to include Alpine in desktop menus On Fri, 3 Jan 2014, Peter Oliver wrote: > The attached patch adds Alpine and Pico to the desktop menus on Linux. I wanted to have a feeling if this is something they wanted/needed. I am still waiting for their reply. I will keep you posted. Thank you!
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 26 development cycle. Changing version to '26'.
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
