Cause: Some video card drivers have a very slow implementation for the difference operation (CAIRO_OPERATOR_DIFFERENCE) Consequence: LibreOffice terribly slow to redraw on some hardware Fix: Remove the use of the difference operation in favor of a simpler operation. Description of problem:
 -libreoffice calc has issues with redraw in documents with over 300 cells populated

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
- libreoffice-5.0.6.2-3

How reproducible:
- see upstream bug 1303562

Steps to Reproduce:
- new empty Calc sheet.
- write 12345 in cell A1.
- Copy cell A1 into cells A2:M300.
- Drag scroll-bar to top.

Actual results:
- takes several seconds to complete the redraw

Expected results:
- redraw completed instantly

Verified with RHEL-7.4-20170330.1 and libreoffice-5.0.6.2-7
