Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 1428785
rdma-core conflicts with infiniband-diags <= 1.6.5
Last modified: 2017-08-01 12:57:45 EDT
Description of problem: Both upstream infiniband-diags and rdma-core contains rdma-ndd, so there is conflict between them. We had update infiniband-diags to version 1.6.7 before rdma-core imported into Fedora, so rdma-core conflicts with infiniband-diags <= 1.6.7 works for Fedora. However, the latest release for RHEL-7.3 is 1.6.5, so rdma-core should conflict with infiniband-diags <= 1.6.5. Otherwise, we can't install infiniband-diags-1.6.7 for RHEL-7.4. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rdma-core-12-2.el7 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: # vi rdma-core.spec ....... 33 # the ndd utility moved from infiniband-diags to rdma-core 34 Conflicts: infiniband-diags <= 1.6.7 ....... Expected results: Conflicts: infiniband-diags <= 1.6.5 Additional info: As rdma-ndd had imported into rdma-core, I will remove the sub-package "rdma-ndd" from infiniband-diags.
