Description atelang 2017-03-09 19:41:07 UTC
Description of problem:
HCI, HyperConverged Infrastructure, consist in deploying CEPH on the compute nodes instead of a dedicated server pool. The main benefit of this approach is to minimize the number of machines types and of machines in total for small deployments. Also, it permit to scale CEPH "without thinking about it" as new compute nodes are added.
This RFE is for HCI with NFV OVS_DPDK Composable services.

CEPH+SRIOV has been tested in OSP 11. Refer BZ: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1384933

Comment 2 Vijay Chundury 2017-03-13 09:07:10 UTC
This is basically more of integration work and Sanjay will deploy HCI and OVS_DPDK together using the composible services/roles architecture on the same compute node.
