Description Michal Skrivanek 2017-03-16 08:40:49 UTC
We need a better documentation of VMware OVA feature detailing the usage and caveats.
This bg covers both improvements upstream at http://www.ovirt.org/develop/release-management/features/virt/virt-v2v-integration/ and proper downstream doc integration

merged upstream at:

https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-site/blob/master/source/develop/release-management/features/virt/virt-v2v-integration.html.md

Section "Importing OVA Files from VMware"

Comment 4 Lucy Bopf 2017-03-30 02:00:42 UTC
Moving back to 'NEW' to be retriaged as resources allow.

Comment 5 Lucy Bopf 2017-07-13 05:52:46 UTC
Assigning to Avital for review.

Avital, this feature requires a new section similar to the ones here (from 6.12.4):

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.1/html-single/virtual_machine_management_guide/#sect-Exporting_and_Importing_Virtual_Machines_and_Templates

You likely won't be able to test the import itself, but you should be able to check the UI for the correct labels.
