* Enabled debug build and made sure not to use stripped binaries
* Added mesa-dri-drivers install requirement
* Added tarball of Khronos spec for Glad to allow offline build
* Switched to official GH sources and added git submodules

* Unbundled sqlite3
* Added more files that can be opened to metadata file

Are you sure it is not in use, that link says it should not be used. Unless there is some bad side effect I would prefer to leave it as is. For example,  "rpm -qi" is still displaying the "Group" tag and is showing as "Unspecified" if left empty.

I mean i's not mandatory and I won't block your package if you want to keep it, but it's considered as deprecated.
