Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 1433398
Add clevis to comps file for release
Last modified: 2017-08-01 13:36:58 EDT
Clevis has been added to compose configuration.
Clevis is present in the latest compose: Searching in /mnt/redhat/nightly/latest-RHEL-7/ Client/x86_64/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.x86_64.rpm ComputeNode/x86_64/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.x86_64.rpm Server/aarch64/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.aarch64.rpm Server/ppc64/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.ppc64.rpm Server/ppc64le/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.ppc64le.rpm Server/s390x/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.s390x.rpm Server/x86_64/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.x86_64.rpm Workstation/x86_64/os/Packages/clevis-2-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
Also we noticed that luksmeta, clevis-luks, clevis-dracut, clevis-udisks2... are all in optional while clevis/tang/jose are in base. This issue has already been raised by QE here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1436742#c2 Should we migrate all these packages into base/optional only as proposed there?
Can you actually make clevis require clevis-luks, ... and all other packages which is typical packaging behaviour. We don't specifically add bash-doc into RHEL in order to have it .. it's being pulled by bash. This will result into pulling all other dependencies (like luksmeta ....) to variants as well. (right now they're in optional).
Hi Jakub, I'm afraid that latest information I've received are that expected install path is yum install clevis-udisks2 clevis-dracut I did change original clevis record to clevis-udisk2 and clevis-dracut https://code.engineering.redhat.com/gerrit/gitweb?p=comps.git;a=commit;h=9fb98f5b38115661fd052cd2de37c56ac361817f I consider this issue resolved. It will be fixed in upcoming nightly. Lubos
