Does this as root too. Settings/Configure k3b/Programs - shows: "growisofs (not found)" Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): k3b-0.11.14-2 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open k3b 2. I said that it does it as root "too" ;) As in user doesn' work, root doesn't work. Just eliminating as many things as I could for you.

I had the same problem... k3b 0.11.20 growisofs 5.21 debian 2.6.8 The search path includes /usr/bin (which is where growisofs is installed). growisofs has executable permissions set (owned by root, permissions 755). This happened when I was running as root. OK, I know I shouldn't have been. The problem disappeared when I ran as a regular user. Weird
