Who is the customer behind the request?
Account: Siemens Energy (482988)
TAM customer: yes
SRM customer: no
Strategic: yes

What is the nature and description of the request?
- requesting that the name on for the Eclipse icon/shortcut in applications->programming also include the version number of the application.

Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
- They need to have multiple versions of Eclipse installed for application support reasons. When looking in the menu it is impossible to distinguish which version of Eclipse the menu entry points to as they are identical. (see screenshot attached.)

Moving to Software Collections

Comment 2 Mat Booth 2017-04-04 09:55:36 UTC
Note that I had to log out and log back in to see the updated menu labels in Gnome Shell.
