Description Robert Scheck 2004-12-22 11:43:16 UTC
Description of problem:
http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/v3.7.1.html

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libtiff-3.6.1-7

Actual results:
I'll attach a diff of the spec files and my other changes - what is
working for me. Libtiff 3.7.x uses auto* etc, so I removed lots of
old stuff from the spec file. Most of the patches are already merged
or were only needed for 3.6.x.

Expected results:
Upgrade to 3.7.1 ;-)

Additional info:
v3.7.1 already contains the fixes against the latest two security
issues, I read.

Excellent! This would also fix bug #128212 (missing LZW support
despite expired patents).
