Description John Fulton 2017-04-04 21:26:57 UTC
We need to import the Ceph Luminous version into Storage SIG repos and create a new centos-release-ceph-luminous package

Additional Information	SRPMS from ceph.com are at https://download.ceph.com/rpm-luminous/el7/SRPMS/

Though this is something for CentOS with the following tracker:

 https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=13086

It also affects RDO's packaging of Ceph. It is also a dependency of getting the following Pike blueprint implemented because it assumes that the undercloud has a ceph-ansible RPM.

 https://blueprints.launchpad.net/tripleo/+spec/tripleo-ceph-ansible

Comment 1 Alan Pevec 2017-04-04 21:47:49 UTC
This has nothing to do with rdopkg, which is a packaging tool.
Linked http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=13086 is the right place but also please do participate in the Storage SIG !

> It also affects RDO's packaging of Ceph.

There isn't "RDO's packaging of Ceph" - RDO depends on Storage SIG Ceph repos.

Thank you Alan for explaining. I see there's a needinfo to me. Anything else you need from me here? As the bug is closed and the issue progressing in the issue below, I will assume not but I just wanted to tie up this lose end.
