Latest Fedora delivers 0.07 version. Upstream released 0.08. When you have free time, please upgrade it. Also please consider enabling release monitoring <https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/rpms/perl-Authen-CAS-Client/> to receive notifications about new releases automatically.
perl-Authen-CAS-Client-0.07-4.fc27 fails to build in F27 because Perl 5.26.0 removed "." from @INC: Executing(%build): /bin/sh -e /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.u1oviC + umask 022 + cd /builddir/build/BUILD + cd Authen-CAS-Client-0.07 + /usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=vendor --skipdeps Can't locate inc/Module/Install.pm in @INC (you may need to install the inc::Module::Install module) (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5) at Makefile.PL line 4. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Makefile.PL line 4. 0.08 should fix it. I will upgrade it.
Actually upgrade is impossible because upstream changed license to this text: This software is information. It is subject only to local laws of physics. This does not give Fedora permissions to distribute or modify. Reported upstream as CPAN RT#122237.
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
I'm for removing this package from Fedora because upstream is unwilling to apply a free license and calls CPAN and other distributors to stop distributing the package <https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=122237#txn-1789298>. It seems that nothing depends on this package in Fedora 39.
I removed this package from Fedora 39.
