Created attachment 1271653 [details] gnome-photos core dump log Description of problem: gnome-photos crashes silently with "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" in the logs when using with a google account with a sizable number of photos. I don't know if this occurs with other accounts, local photos, or older versions of gnome-photos. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Name : gnome-photos Version : 3.24.1 Release : 1.fc26 Arch : x86_64 How reproducible: It doesn't seem to always be reproducible by simply running the program. It seems to occur with the initial loading of the photos from a newly added account. It will crash if you turn off syncing of photos from an account (this has been the most consistent, it will crash every time (if it is running)). Sometimes it will crash if you turn it back on. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add google account that has a reasonable number of photos 2. open gnome-photos 3. wait for it to crash/exit For consistent reproduction. 1. Add a google account with photos 1. open gnome-photos let it sync 3. open online accounts in settings with gnome-photos open and turn off photos sync. Actual results: crashes with no error given to the user Expected results: Additional info: attached is the core dump from journalctl
