Description of problem:

When you have more than one Cluster and after you upgrade oVirt, an event is generated for each in this format:

  Storage Pool Manager runs on Host X.domain.com (Address: 10.A.B.C).
  Storage Pool Manager runs on Host Y.domain.com (Address: 10.D.E.F).

It would be good to specify for which Cluster this SPM applies.

4.1.1.8

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade oVirt, and wait to finish.
2. Log in to the webadmin
3. See the message above

Actual results:

  Storage Pool Manager runs on Host X.domain.com (Address: 10.A.B.C).
  Storage Pool Manager runs on Host Y.domain.com (Address: 10.D.E.F).

Expected results:

  Storage Pool Manager for cluster AAA runs on Host X.domain.com (Address: 10.A.B.C).
  Storage Pool Manager for cluster BBB runs on Host Y.domain.com (Address: 10.D.E.F).

SPM is running per data-center, not per cluster. Specify the DC name.

In the engine log I can see:
"Storage Pool Manager runs on Host storage-ge6-vdsm2.scl.lab.tlv.redhat.com (Address: storage-ge6-vdsm2.scl.lab.tlv.redhat.com), Data Center golden_env_mixed"

Tested on ovirt-engine-4.2.0-0.0.master.20170828065003.git0619c76.el7.centos

This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.2.0 release, published on Dec 20th 2017.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in oVirt 4.2.0 release, published on Dec 20th 2017, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE.
