Description of problem: After upgrade to thunderbird-52.0 the program begun to crash every time I try to compact an IMAP folder. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): thunderbird-52.0-1.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time with my mailbox Additional info: In attachment a backtrace from my machine. This is only first 361 strack frames, and probably should be much longer, unfortunately the gdb took quite a long while to produce this much, and I can only hope it gives a hint for you.
Same thing after upgrade to FC26, and thunderbird 52.0-2.fc26.x86_64
Please try the upstream binaries of Thunderbird: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/ that we can move it to the upstream (seems like it would be worth to solve it on upstream).
