Description of problem:
Trying to run mediawriter.exe on KVM VM with installed Win7. After running application, it terminate after few seconds. It should wrote some warning message why, because versions 4.0.8 or 4.0.7 do so.

4.0.95

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use https://github.com/MartinBriza/MediaWriter/releases/download/4.0.95/FedoraMediaWriter-win32-4.0.95.exe to download and install
2. run the mediawriter.exe
3.

Actual results:
Application terminate itself without error message

Expected results:
At least error message should show

Additional info:
Older version 4.0.8 shows error message:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please try enabling at least 2D or (better) 3D acceleration for the VM.

Running in a VM is not a use-case we want to support. It will probably start to work once Qt 5.8 (or higher) with software QML renderer support hits the Fedora repositories but until then it's WONTFIX for me, sorry.
