Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". Description of problem:

goferd is utilizing high memory on content hosts, which is responsible for performance issue on CH.

Satellite 6.2.9 or prir versions
RHEL 7

Actual results:

goferd is utilizing high memory on content hosts, which is responsible for performance issue on CH and it is using more than 2G of memory on hosts.

Expected results:
Memory utilization should be as low as possible.

Additional info:
There is already a bug registered for performance issue due to goferd but I am not sure if this is related to memory issue fix.
