I would vote for this being notabug. We offer current DNS settings as a default. It's not about defaults are IPv4, the defaults are what you have currently set up. It might be good reminder to user, before he/she overrides it. Note that you can have IPv6 routing with IPv4 DNS. This can be quite often these days -- Imagine you have static IPv4 and static IPv6. Also note that you can only have 2 dns servers no matter the IP stack. Please re-open if you disagree.
Ah, now I see the problem, we don't allow the IPv4 to be accepted. Will fix that shortly.
