Doc Text:	Previous versions of cloud-init were sensitive to incorrectly formatted vendor data provided by the cloud environment. This could cause cloud-init to terminate unexpectedly before configuring authentication credentials on the system. As a consequence, cloud-init was not able to configure credentials, which would make it impossible to log in to a newly provisioned cloud server.
