Description of problem: On current Fedora 26, after opening /usr/share/fonts/sil-padauk in nautilus, an empty thumbnail is shown for font Padauk-Bold.ttf. Likewise, opening the latter in gnome-font-viewer displays an empty panel. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): freetype-2.7.1-8.fc26 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open directory /usr/share/fonts/sil-padauk in nautilus. Actual results: An empty thumbnail for font Padauk-Bold.ttf is shown. Expected results: A preview of font Padauk-Bold.ttf is shown as a thumbnail. Additional info: Font Padauk-Bold.ttf is rendered correctly on current Fedora 25 with package freetype-2.6.5-9.fc25.
Thank you for this report. The problem was in low limit for maximal count of LOOPCALL loops. Upstream have fixed this in master today and I've backported the fix to Fedora 26 and rawhide.
