I am preparing to update rubygem-rack-protection to latest version 2.0.0. (And rubygem-sinatra too). After that, this pcs is going not to work. So, I would attach a patch to pass pcs test. I checked to pass the test by myself. You can use the patch or I can push the patch to the pcs repository after getting an access permission to the repository. Sorry, when I built current pcs with my created rack-protection 2.0.0, the build (and install) is succeeded. So, pcs does not need to use patch.
