GSL 2.5 was released almost 7 months ago. Any plans on updating it? Thank you.
GSL is now listed as being orphaned. A package I maintain (3Depict) depends on this package - any chance of 2.5 being packaged? The new version is quite an overhaul, and includes useful features, such as filtering.
I've updated the spec file to 2.5, and it builds without any significant changes.
I also checked the updated spec file against fedora-review 0.7.2 (current on Fedora 30). Most of the issues are benign (the undefined non-weak symbols exist by design: the choice of the CBLAS library is left to the user), but there's also a warning about texinfo files not being installed/uninstalled properly. However, I think this is something RPM is already doing automatically.
Doesn't look like there are any API changes https://abi-laboratory.pro/?view=timeline&l=gsl so I've triggered the build on rawhide.
