Description Marko Myllynen 2017-06-26 03:31:45 EDT
Description of problem:
/etc/profile.d/qt-graphicssystem.sh contains:

  # workarond cirrus/qt bug, http://bugzilla.redhat.com/810161
  if ( /usr/sbin/lspci 2>/dev/null | grep -qi "VGA compatible controller: Cirrus Logic GD 5446" ) ; then

It is unreasonable to workaround such an obscure bug by running lspci e.g. during every time a user invokes "sudo su -" or when a new shell session is initialized. Especially on larger systems the penalty of running lspci is very noticeable.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
qt-settings-19-23.5.el7.noarch
